  研究表明,红豆富含膳食纤维、钾、镁、磷、B族维生素等多种营养物质,特别能补充夏季流汗丢失的钾,心肾功能不好的人尤其适合吃红豆。

  中医认为,红豆有清热解毒、健脾益胃、利尿消肿、通气除烦的功效,有利于夏季消水肿。

  而红豆的亲戚——赤小豆,利水消肿、解毒排脓作用更强。

  一般来说,红豆煮汤、熬粥均可,也可以和绿豆一起熬煮。红豆还可以与大米一起煮红豆饭,能增加粗粮的摄入量。夏季的中期气温逐渐上升,以健脾为主,适宜多吃红豆、红腰豆。
